Job Summary
The Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for promoting wellness and maintaining a safe work environment to ensure the health and safety of all UPS employees within the business unit.
He/She assists in ensuring local regulatory and UPS policy compliance, execution of business unit strategies, tactics, and improvement initiatives to prevent injuries & auto crashes, and mitigate risk.
This position also follows up professional, regulatory, and community organizations to provide a safe work environment, and to strengthen UPS’s standing in the communities that are served.
