Key Requirements
Completed apprenticeship as Metallograph, Werkstoffprüfer, or Werkstofftechniker
2-3 years of professional experience in the field
Practical laboratory experience
Knowledge of testing methods: hardness testing, metallography, spectral analysis, microscopy, SEM
Knowledge of material structure, heat treatment, ferrous and non-ferrous metals
