In Safety, Health & Environment, your expertise becomes a force multiplier: you protect colleagues, elevate operational excellence, and drive sustainability at scale so lifesaving medicines reach patients safely and responsibly.
You will recruit, develop, and inspire a small team, influence cross-functional partners, and represent AZ on SHE matters with regulators and corporate stakeholders—advancing a culture of no hurt, harm, or alarm while enabling reliable, compliant supply of life-changing medicines.

Leadership of SHE teams in industrial settings

Advanced degree or professional certifications
Experience with digital EHS tools and data

Presentation to regulators and senior leaders
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years relevant SHE experience
Proven leadership in complex industrial settings
Experience with machinery/equipment risk assessments
Resilient crisis management skills
Experience designing and delivering SHE training
Pharmaceutical and/or GMP experience preferred
Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred
