Job Summary
Upon referral, evaluates patients and develops and implements rehabilitative treatment programs for the purpose of restoring or improving hand therapy patients’ optimal level of function, independence, and quality of life.
Fabricates splints as per prescription in a timely fashion or as a walk-in when time allows, and documents and communicates results and recommendations.
Actively participates in rehabilitation team efforts to meet patient needs, including case rounds, counseling and teaching patients and their families, and coordinating health care plans with other involved health professionals.
