Job Summary
The Transfer Station Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and compacting waste.
Employees must maintain a clean and organized work environment both inside and outside the facility while ensuring proper use of lighting, dust control and ventilation systems.
Operators are required to observe and report any potential malfunctions or disruptions of plant activities as well as sub-standard service levels of contracted manpower.
