The Health Care Aide provides personal care and performs selected tasks under the direction of their supervisor while adhering to regulatory and Extendicare's standards, policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include adhering to the plan of care, facilitating resident moves, observing and reporting on resident conditions, assisting with personal care and daily living activities, and escalating medical emergencies.

Key Requirements
Registered with Alberta CLHA
Graduate of Health Care Aide program
Experience working with seniors
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and customer focus skills
Demonstrated sound skills in providing personal care
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
Ability to perform tasks such as lifting/transferring clients
