Key Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician in New Mexico or eligible to transfer/acquire
  • 3+ years of veterinary clinical experience
  • Degree from AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred

  • Proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
  • Ability to perform nursing care in hospital or ranch setting
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare

  • Urinary catheter placement
  • Applying casts, bandages and splints
  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience
