Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program (if applicable) for the nursing assistants as required by regulations.
The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and supervises staff, including taking or assisting with appropriate disciplinary measures.
The role requires coordinating and participating in staff recruiting and hiring, processing employment-related documentation, and coordinating payroll and employee benefit programs.
