The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College is seeking an Administrative Assistant III to perform various clerical and receptionist duties within the Business and Industry Center. This position involves maintaining records, managing schedules, and supporting staff activities, requiring strong communication and organizational skills

Job Summary

  • The Administrative Specialist III reports to the Executive Director of Business and Industry Center and is responsible for receptionist and clerical duties, coordinating office activities, preparing special reports, maintaining class files, performing general purchasing and human resource duties, maintaining schedules, calendars, and rental agreements, overseeing the inventory and M&R process, and developing, revising, and recommending administrative policies and procedures as directed by supervisor.
  • Provides receptionist duties including answering the phone and front-line customer service, and performs clerical duties including typing staff meeting minutes, assisting the staff as needed, printing certificates, assisting the instructional staff with printing, binding and other class preparation services.
  • Performs general purchasing duties including completion and coordination of vendor set up, requisitions, invoicing, receiving and other duties, and general human resource duties including completion of supplemental contracts, concurrent employment forms, and other duties.
