The role involves collaborating extensively with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nursing, and HIM Coders to ensure documentation supports diagnoses and reflects patient severity of illness.

Key Requirements
ASN or Associate of Science in Health Information Management
2 or more years of acute care experience
Registered Nurse licensure
RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, CDIP, LPN, or RN certification
