Must-have

  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
  • 8-12 years experience in mechanical design analysis
  • Experience with finite element analysis using ANSYS/LS-DYNA/ABAQUS
  • Knowledge of ASME Section III pressure boundary design

Nice-to-have

  • Working knowledge of CANDU design and Calandria Vessel
  • Familiarity with CSA N285.0 standards
  • Strong client relations and communication skills
  • Drive for continuous learning by own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Key Requirements

  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8-12 years related work experience in complex mechanical systems
  • Experience in classical stress calculation
  • Interpretation of GD&T
