Job Summary

  • As an Operadora(or) de Cuba Especialista A, you will be responsible for preparing machines, equipment, and materials, operating a blast furnace, tapping and desulfurizing pig iron, performing refractory maintenance, and controlling the physicochemical characteristics of products and raw materials.
  • The role involves organizing and cleaning, visual inspection of the cuba, reading anode millivoltage, coal dust skimming, cuba raking, reacting to out-of-range anodes and cuba problems, operating a new cuba, controlling alumina levels, collecting alumina samples, and maintaining the cuba feeding system.
