Job Summary
The Workforce Trainer reports directly to the Director of Workforce Development and should possess a well-rounded skill set in industrial machining, maintenance mechanics/advanced manufacturing of various types, as well as a thorough knowledge of accepted safety practices.
This position is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, as this position is for evenings and weekend work may be required to meet industry needs.
The job duties include establishing and maintaining working relationships with industry partners, interacting with business/industry leaders to assess training needs, and developing and facilitating trainings targeted to the manufacturing industry.
