Job Summary
The Manufacturing Toolmaker will be responsible for all mechanical manufacturing aspects of jigs, fixtures, other fabrications for assembly cells, referencing from CAD and / or 2D drawings.
Duties will also include preparation/assembly and fitting of new and existing Casting tools, as well as supporting workstreams involving casting die disassembly.
The Manufacturing Toolmaker must ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and legal regulations, while consistently achieving specifications for tolerances, project milestones and delivery expectations.

City and Guilds toolmaker qualification
previous post apprenticeship experience
Automotive tooling environment experience
experience assembling mechanical and pneumatic components
experience with hydraulic or power presses

non CNC Machining skills
understanding quality procedures
ability to interpret engineering drawings
interrogate CAD data understanding precision measurement
