Job Summary

• Serve as a daily newscast producer and multiplatform content creator, writing, producing, desktop editing, and gathering content for all WNJU & WNBC platforms.
• Be an active participant in editorial meetings by offering unique enterprise story ideas and managing a team of Content Producers, coaching and mentoring them as needed.
• Collaborate with Executive Producers and fellow Producers to ensure the most complete local news coverage that is both fair and accurate, while staying on top of the latest graphic tools to visually enhance stories.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in newsgathering and/or production
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
• Must be willing to work in New York City
• Must be available to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays or whenever assigned
