Job Summary

  • Under the direction of the Access Manager, the Appointment Business Center LPN will navigate and perform patient scheduling, referral management of internal and external patient referrals, and will triage complex scheduling request in electronic health record systems.
  • The LPN will be responsible for reviewing and requesting clinical documentation as appropriate and will be required to identify, differentiate, or rule out non-urgent/urgent, non-acute/acute, emergent, life-threatening symptoms in order to provide safe and timely disposition of referrals.
