Job Summary
The person serving in the Tax Counsel / Senior Tax Counsel position will provide tax planning advice and support on a wide variety of income and other tax matters affecting Chevron’s businesses.
Responsibilities include providing tax planning advice and support for various of Chevron’s domestic and international upstream, downstream and midstream businesses, with a primary focus on U.S. federal income taxation.
An extensive understanding of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and the Treasury Regulations promulgated thereunder is a necessity, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills, tax research skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and varied groups of stakeholders.
