Key Requirements

  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification within 1 year
  • Minimum three years RN experience
  • At least one year IBCLC experience in high-volume Baby Friendly hospital preferred
  • RN licensure by South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state
  • Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification
  • Enrollment in BSN program if RN hired after July 1, 2013 with Associate/Diploma degree
