Key Requirements
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification within 1 year
Minimum three years RN experience
At least one year IBCLC experience in high-volume Baby Friendly hospital preferred
RN licensure by South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state
Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification
Enrollment in BSN program if RN hired after July 1, 2013 with Associate/Diploma degree
