Job Summary
The Sepsis Coordinator focuses on advancing sepsis care through adherence to evidence-based bundles, ensuring staff remain informed on best practices, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
This role conducts chart audits, provides education, and delivers presentations while collaborating closely with physicians and clinical teams across the ICU, Emergency Department, and Med/Surg units.
As part of the Safety Quality and Patient Experience (SQPE) team, this role plays a key part in strengthening patient safety, enhancing clinical outcomes, and supporting Cleveland Clinic’s commitment to excellence in care.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field
Five years of related experience
Experience with Joint Commission, HFAP or CMS surveys
In-depth knowledge of patient safety best practices
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools
Certified Patient Safety Professional (CPPS) within two years
