  • The Sepsis Coordinator focuses on advancing sepsis care through adherence to evidence-based bundles, ensuring staff remain informed on best practices, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • This role conducts chart audits, provides education, and delivers presentations while collaborating closely with physicians and clinical teams across the ICU, Emergency Department, and Med/Surg units.
  • As part of the Safety Quality and Patient Experience (SQPE) team, this role plays a key part in strengthening patient safety, enhancing clinical outcomes, and supporting Cleveland Clinic’s commitment to excellence in care.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Five years of related experience
  • Experience with Joint Commission, HFAP or CMS surveys
  • In-depth knowledge of patient safety best practices
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools
  • Certified Patient Safety Professional (CPPS) within two years
