Job Summary

• The IDI-GEMS is a comprehensive, fee-for-service laboratory supporting infectious disease research with services including next-generation sequencing, a bioinformatics and microbiome platform, tick-borne pathogen testing, and the Bacillus Genetic Stock Center.
• This position will primarily support operations in the Buckeye Tick Test laboratory and the sequencing laboratory, while also performing sequencing service and BGSC duties for flexible coverage and integrated workflow support.
• The Lab Analyst will play an active role in outreach by helping coordinate and participate in educational events to raise public awareness about ticks and tick safety.
