The Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Equity is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee operational leadership and administrative management for its programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education or nonprofit sectors and be skilled in organizational management, grant development, and program coordination

Job Summary

  • The Assistant Director will play a key role in coordinating the Center’s administrative infrastructure and financial processes to support CRE²’s mission of advancing transformative research, learning, and community engagement on race and ethnicity.
  • This position will also contribute to the development and management of research support programs, graduate fellowships, and initiatives that strengthen the Center’s impact across campus and within the broader community.
  • WashU provides eligible employees with a defined contribution (403(b)) Retirement Savings Plan, which combines employee contributions and university contributions starting at 7%.

Key Requirements
