Mediasal is seeking a Controller to oversee financial reporting and control activities in Tel Aviv, Israel. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification, and experience in accounting, with fluency in both English and Hebrew

Job Summary

  • The purpose of this role is to perform and support the higher risk standard Financial reporting and control activities required each month, quarter and year-end as well as supervise the execution of lower risk activities.
  • Support most aspects of accounting management including billing, collection, reconciliation, payments, tax forms, intercompany process, and reporting.
  • Participate in preparation for the annual audit and work with external auditors and advisors, and review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.

Key Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Professional certification (CPA) - MUST
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting firm or as an Assistant Controller
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP
  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work effectively and independently
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
