The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture is seeking a County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences/4-H to develop and implement community-based educational programs focused on nutrition, health, and youth development. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and possess strong communication skills to engage with diverse community members and organizations

Job Summary

  • Conducts practical, community-based educational programs to empower individuals, families, and communities in areas such as nutrition, family well-being, health, food safety, economic self-sufficiency, and Youth Development.
  • Develops and executes annual action plans based on identified issues, plans, delivers, and teaches educational programs, and responds to clientele inquiries with research-based recommendations.
  • Employs effective evaluation techniques to measure program impact, compiles and communicates program results, and ensures compliance with civil rights requirements.
