Job Summary

  • The Electrical Engineer directs the design and installation of new or replacement electrical and automation equipment, develops standards for reliability and guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities on said equipment.
  • The Electrical Engineer may also be tasked with supporting maintenance activities during breakdowns, line shuts, annual shuts or when the need arises.
  • In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a targeted annual bonus of 15%, health and welfare benefits and 401(k) match in accordance with BlueScope policies.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Science
  • 5 years of experience in electrical engineering/automation
  • 10 years of experience in electrical engineering/automation (Preferred)
  • Heavy Manufacturing experience
  • Project management experience
