Job Summary
The position is responsible for delivering quality laboratory testing to OSUMC patients and clients as well as to the community.
Testing includes interpretation of smears and cultures, performing and interpreting identification and susceptibility tests, specialized testing in AFB, mycology, virology, parasitology and/or molecular methods.
This technician also participates in quality control, continuous quality improvement, inventory control, professional development, training, and continuing education within the area.
