Job Summary
This is a highly technical position responsible for the repair maintenance, modification, and installation of all the high voltage underground/overhead electrical distribution systems and security and street lighting on the LSU-Baton Rouge campus and all ancillary campus locations.
Supervises and assists with the maintenance, repair, and replacement of the campus electrical 4160V and 13.8kV distribution systems, including ordering materials, troubleshooting, scheduling outages, and equipment coordination.
Coordinates the preventative maintenance program for high voltage switch gear, transformers, and sectionalizers to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems.
