The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing leadership and the Director of Nursing Services.
You will accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications commonly used in the facility and participate in quality assurance and pharmaceutical services committees to improve medication processes.
Maintaining confidentiality of resident care information and cooperating with facility surveys and inspections are essential parts of this role.
