Job Summary
The Transport Authorization Specialist is responsible for coordinating medical transportation and helps facilitate patient transfers within and outside of Valley Health.
Responsibilities include obtaining pre-authorization from transportation brokers for ambulance, wheelchair and ambulatory transports; access and maintain awareness of the broker manifests and communicate changes and assignments with all transportation providers.
