Job Summary

  • Provides assessment and direct care for prevention and management of wounds and ostomies, collaborating with the health care team to ensure effective implementation of the plan.
  • Serves as a resource to instruct caregivers, family, outside health care providers and monitor nursing staff in prevention strategies, appropriate identification and documentation, and the delivery of care for wound, ostomy and continence management.
