Job Summary

  • As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the Strengths Model of Recovery-Oriented Practice across all aspects of the Community Acute Response Team (CART).
  • Provide comprehensive face to face and telephone assessments including mental state assessment, risk assessment and planning of appropriate crisis interventions in the least restrictive environment to ensure that people in an acute phase of a mental illness receive high quality treatment.
  • Full time employment comes with a monthly Accrued Day Off (additional day off per month!)

Key Requirements

  • Masters Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Bachelor of Social Work (B.SW)
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • registered as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • registered as a Social Worker with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • registered as an Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal history check
