Job Summary
Plan, develop, and direct the facility’s infection control program in accordance with current rules and regulations (CDC, OSHA, and Title 22).
Monitor infection practices, perform case-finding rounds, and prepare monthly summaries of resident/personnel infections for leadership review.
Manage the TB Mantoux testing program, monitor Hepatitis B vaccinations, and provide counseling for occupational exposures.
