Job Summary
Provide technical leadership and direction in the development, revision, and review of Operational Plans (OPLANS), Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), and Campaign Plans.
Assist staff planners in the development of strategic and operational concepts for new OPLANs/CONPLANs and possible branch plans to existing OPLANS/CONPLANs.
Support higher, adjacent and supporting headquarters planning ensuring proper employment of forces; and review and provide written comments on regional combatant commander and JTF OPLANS/CONPLANS.
