Job Summary

  • The Coordinator provides strategic direction, guides and develops supervisors or officers, and represents the Procurement function in high-level discussions with site managers, contractors, and corporate stakeholders.
  • This position manages annual spend exceeding USD 100 million and is expected to generate measurable value, drive supplier performance, and ensure alignment with corporate guidelines, local regulations, and the long-term objectives of Cobre Panamá.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Law
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience managing teams, including mentoring and capability development
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems
  • Solid knowledge of the local supplier market
