Job Summary

The Financial Specialist will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and partner coordination for the WALIP USG funded project and other projects in North Kivu.
The role requires collaboration with program and finance teams, ensuring timely submission of financial data, and supporting audits and donor reviews.

Budgeting and forecasting for projects
Grant accounting and financial reporting
Compliance with donor financial policies
Use of Sun Systems accounting software
Financial data management and analysis
Partner financial report coordination
Nice-to-have
Experience with USG funded projects
Fluency in French and English
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently under pressure
Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
Travel to project provinces quarterly
Key Requirements
First degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
Minimum 3 years NGO grant management experience
Knowledge of GAAP and WVI FPP
Experience with Sun Systems, Vision XL, Vision Executive
