Job Summary

  • The Prevention Officer is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of GBV prevention activities through Peoples Corner operations, mobilizing community leaders and men & boys' inclusion of religious/Faith leaders, and women and girls from the community to participate in awareness campaigns and discussions on GBV.
  • Key deliverables include overseeing Peoples Corner operations, implementing approaches that contribute to competency development and integration of advocacy, ensuring timely and proper implementation of prevention activities, and writing up activity reports.
  • The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including site management, other actors, sector staff, and interagency groups, to identify GBV risks and inform advocacy efforts.

Key Requirements

  • At least 3 years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social science/Social welfare/Psychology/Anthropology/Law/Gender studies

  • JPF Funded Project experience
