Job Summary

  • Functions as the primary mental health resource within the Aurora Public Defender Office, assisting with competency evaluations and mental health referrals.
  • Manages a caseload of individuals set for competency, coordinating evaluations and connecting them to appropriate treatment services.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with community partners and other City departments to improve the quality of representation by the Public Defender.
