Job Summary

  • The Sonar Research and Development Division (SRDD) of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking undergraduate student interns to provide technical expertise to the government in all aspects of SONAR technologies.
  • Typical duties may include supporting piezoelectric material processing, characterization, production, and procurement for fleet transducers, as well as transducer modeling, fabrication, documentation, acoustic testing, data analysis, and data display.
  • This is a paid internship located at ARL’s Main Laboratory at the University Park campus, with opportunities to work up to 20 hours/week during semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer.
