Job Summary

  • A Medical Information Management Student Intern serves in a variety of functional areas within the department in addition to assisting with special projects as assigned by the respective manager.
  • Analyzes and reviews medical records for inpatients, outpatients and procedure areas after patient discharge to evaluate compliance with CMS documentation requirements.
  • Assists operations director and managers with clerical tasks and Document Imaging or Data Integrity teams as needed.
