Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 2 years heavy equipment paint processing experience
  • Leadership experience in any industry
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Experience with top coat prime coat and electrostatic process
  • Intermediate to advanced computer usage skills

Nice-to-have

  • 6-month Caterpillar Paving Products experience
  • Heavy crane equipment operation experience
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar paint quality standards
  • Experience writing continuous improvement cards

Key Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in heavy equipment or automotive paint processing
  • Paint related certificate or certified trade school/technical degree
  • Minimum 6 months intermediate to advanced computer usage
  • Completion of Complete PFT test
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently
