Job Summary

  • As a Static Stress Engineer you will support the fleet in-service repair of aircraft structures and is responsible for the justification of repair solutions from a Static Stress point of view, on Time, to Cost and to Quality.
  • Located on the Wichita State University innovation campus is Airbus’ first dedicated engineering facility outside of Europe.
  • This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • 3 years airframe design/repair analysis experience

  • Up to 5% domestic travel
