Job Summary

  • As Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs to ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed budget while meeting quality and time requirements.
  • Due to the site being a high-security military naval base, additional security checks will be required – a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary.

  • Strong knowledge of cost management and financial principles
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control software
  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of construction methods, resources and contracts (NEC4)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel Skills (Essential): Macros/VBA, Pivot Tables & advanced data analysis, Lookup and logical functions, Power Query / data modelling, Dashboard Creation
