  • Candidates must successfully complete the department's internal written and practical exam to attain and maintain Sterile Processing III status.

Must-have

  • Perform decontamination and cleaning of instrumentation
  • Operate washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers
  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness and function
  • Maintain adequate inventory for instrument assembly
  • Follow established sterilization policies and procedures

Nice-to-have

  • Ability to travel between sites as needed
  • Assist OR team in expediting schedules

  • Experience in hospital or surgical setting preferred

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CRCST - HSPA or CBSPD certification required
  • Minimum two years of sterile processing experience
  • Successful completion of internal written and practical exam
