Job Summary

• The Vaccines and Advanced Biotechnologies (VAX) Process R&D team is responsible for the development and clinical manufacturing of Drug Substance and Drug Product Intermediates for the vaccine and advanced therapy pipeline.
• The Associate Principal Scientist will lead early downstream process design and development for recombinant subunit and/or conjugate vaccine products, contributing to new principles and workflows.
• The role requires collaboration with Discovery, Analytical, Formulation, and Enabling Technologies teams, and offers a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

• 7+ years experience (BS), 5+ years (MS), or 3+ years (PhD)
• Strong hands-on understanding of downstream unit operations
• 5+ years hands-on experience in process optimization
