Job Summary

  • Manufacturing Shop Quality Engineer responsible for delivered hardware quality and shop quality assurance utilizing Quality systems and tools with heavy interaction and association with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering and Shop Operations teams in both a New Product Introduction (NPI) and Production environment.
  • Direct hardware and process Quality development and execution on the Shop Floor in and Engine Assembly environment, including NPI and Low-rate production, ensuring conformance to specification through daily management and application of Quality tools and Continuous Improvement/kaizen activity.
  • Perform Audits (Product, Workstation, Special Process) of a shop in support of the Quality Management System and facilitate and own Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for hardware and Quality Systems issues.

Key Requirements
