Job Summary
This role supports Raytheon's Advanced Technology organization by performing highly technical assignments to protect the nation and warfighters.
The team develops flexible integrated solutions crossing sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations while utilizing grid computing for large dataset analysis.
Candidates will engage in vehicle design, system sizing, trajectory optimization, and mission planning toolset development within an onsite Tucson, AZ environment.

Salary
Base: $132,400 - $251,600 USD; Bonus/Equity: Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs available; Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and parental leave
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Active Top Secret security clearance
U.S. citizenship required
10+ years systems engineering experience
Python MATLAB C++ programming
STK or similar visualization tools
Mission planning and performance analysis
Grid computing infrastructure experience
Nice-to-have
Advanced STEM degree preferred
Physics-based model development
Numerical optimization methods
Git version control familiarity
SLURM grid computing knowledge
Self-motivated independent work ethic
Intellectual property disclosure experience
Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years relevant experience
STEM degree required
Active transferable Top Secret clearance
U.S. citizenship mandatory
Experience with Guidance Navigation Control
Proficiency in Python MATLAB or C++
Knowledge of Orbital Mechanics or Mission Analysis
