  • The Advanced Surgical Consultant will support cardiac surgeons and heart failure cardiologists by providing device expertise, training, and clinical support for the Impella product portfolio to improve patient outcomes.
  • This position offers a competitive base salary of $125,000 plus sales incentives, participation in a company car program, and comprehensive employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and generous time off.

Must-have

  • Cardiac surgery and OR protocol expertise
  • Direct patient management in cardiac transplant or ECMO center
  • Device training and clinical support for Impella portfolio
  • Field-based role with travel and on-call availability
  • Collaboration with surgical and clinical teams

Nice-to-have

  • Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills
  • Experience delivering clinical demonstrations and trainings
  • Ability to advance sales process with customers
  • Hands on Impella support experience
  • Experience with ECMO patient care

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 5+ years cardiac transplant or ECMO experience
  • Advanced degree with 3+ years direct patient support in cardiac transplant or ECMO center
  • Direct patient management experience in Cardiothoracic ICU or CVOR
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel and take on-call duties
  • Preferred advanced clinical licenses such as RNFA, NP, PA, or Perfusionist
  • 5+ years direct cardiac surgery or perfusion experience preferred
