Job Summary
The Registered Nurse functions as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team whose responsibility is to facilitate the bio-psycho-social rehabilitation and/or safe detoxification of the patient.
Registered Nurses also facilitate educational/supportive groups, deliver lectures, provide individual education counseling related to preventative health, medical status, and/or medication usage and facilitate direct interventions in crisis situations.
JFK is a 68-bed inpatient treatment facility designed to meet the needs of adults with substance use disorders from the 44 westernmost counties in North Carolina.
