The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Divinity or Theology, relevant chaplaincy experience, and excellent interpersonal skills

Job Summary

  • The Chaplain will provide spiritual, emotional and psychological support to patients, their families and staff of Methodist Hospital/ Methodist Women’s Hospital and work to create an environment where spiritual and pastoral approaches are integrated into the plan of care.

Key Requirements

  • Master of Divinity or Theology degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years Chaplain experience in lieu of Master's
  • Valid Ordination or ecclesiastical endorsement
  • Completion of one unit of CPE
  • 1-3 years pastoral ministry experience
  • Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Facilitator certification required within 1 year
