The incumbent will be working under the supervision of Raja Bhattacharyya, PhD., Assistant Professor of Neurology to identify molecular targets regulating mitochondrial pathology in Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
The project will include confocal microscopy, immunocytochemistry, protein biochemistry, cellular/molecular biology, 2- or 3-dimensional cell culture, and mouse models.
The candidate is expected to show a high degree of interest in the project, self-motivation, and initiative to problem-solving.
