  • To provide the professional, clinical and technical knowledge, skills and expertise required for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports the mission, values, and philosophy of Pharmacy Services and Sharp HealthCare.
  • Reviews all prescriptions for appropriate dose, duration, frequency, dosage form and indication, and monitors therapy for potential or actual drug interactions.
  • Participates in cost management initiatives to include assisting patients and physicians identify the most cost effective treatment plan available.

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy

  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional

  • Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate
  • BPS (Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties) Certification within 6 months
  • Advance Practice Pharmacist License within 12 months
